E.T.’s Grandson

Today I took a break from my usual studio work to create a UFO with my grandson. We have covered some plastic plates and a bowl with masking tape. Papier mache comes next, then a coat of black paint followed by a coat of silver.

Building a UFO is a bit of work, but doing it with a grandson like mine is a joy. We are secretly hoping E.T. might pay us a visit. Or, perhaps, E.T.’s grandson.

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
